Rural Ventures, in collaboration with Harven Agribusiness School, is launching a course focused on digital transformation and innovation management in agriculture. This initiative aims to address the growing demand for professionals equipped with the skills required in the agtech sector in Brazil. According to AgFeed, the course is designed to educate future agricultural leaders with a technological perspective, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest developments in the market.

The course, which is currently in its prototype stage, will consist of 12 hours of instruction, supplemented by an in-person networking session. The curriculum will feature presentations by professionals from agricultural startups and large corporations engaged in technology and innovation. Notable participants include representatives from Suzano, Basf, Nvidia, and Cubo, as well as leaders from startups like BemAgro.

The course is set to begin in October, with an expected class size of around 50 students. While this course is a short-term educational offering, Rural Ventures and Harven are considering expanding their collaboration to include additional courses, possibly leading to a new postgraduate program within the SEB Group system.

Harven Agribusiness School, founded by Chaim Zaher and agribusiness experts Marcos Fava Neves and Roberto Fava Scare, is part of a larger project to establish an “Agro complex” in Ribeirão Preto. This complex includes educational facilities, a shopping mall, hotels, and restaurants, aiming to create a comprehensive hub for the agricultural community.

Currently, Harven offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs and corporate education, with plans to expand its offerings in the coming years. The partnership with Rural Ventures is one of several initiatives aimed at providing practical, industry-focused education to meet the evolving needs of the agribusiness sector.
