Mariana Bonora, CEO of Bart Digital and co-founder of Sette, highlights the merger as a pivotal moment for both companies and the broader Brazilian agfintech ecosystem. She emphasizes the synergy achieved through the integration of Bart and A de Agro’s technologies and customer bases, positioning Sette to deliver enhanced value propositions and operational efficiencies.

The integration efforts will focus on facilitating seamless collaboration between Bart and A de Agro systems, leveraging AI-driven insights to optimize credit assessment processes. This approach aims to empower mutual customers with greater operational fluidity and access to advanced collateral management tools, thereby driving digital transformation across agricultural financing practices.

Rafael Coelho, CEO of A de Agro and co-founder of Sette, elaborates on the strategic rationale behind the name “Sette,” citing its symbolic significance. Derived from the atomic number of nitrogen, a fundamental element in agriculture, and representing concepts of unity and indivisibility, the name embodies the cohesive merger of the two entities. Coelho underscores the deliberate choice to embed agribusiness symbolism subtly within the brand, while also alluding to the cultural and symbolic resonance of the number “7.”

Founded in 2016, Bart Digital pioneered digital procedures for agricultural title issuance, including the e-CPR (Digital Rural Product Certificate), and has since grown into a leading platform in Brazil. Their flagship product, Ativus, operates as a SaaS solution enabling seamless issuance and management of agricultural titles and guarantees.

A de Agro, known for its innovative use of AI in agricultural monitoring and credit assessment, has facilitated over R$1.2 billion in transactions through its Rural Uno platform. The company’s expertise lies in leveraging AI to enhance data-driven decision-making for financiers, enriching crop information and bolstering financial inclusivity in rural areas.
