New Partnership Offers Agritech Innovators a Single Point of Contact for Contract Manufacturing & Electronics

PP Control & Automation (PP C&A) has announced a new partnership with Jaltek designed to offer organizations involved in indoor and vertical farming, automation, precision farming, and remote sensing a unified contact point for contract manufacturing and electronics.

Founded in 1967, PP Control & Automation has evolved into one of Europe’s largest and most award-winning providers of strategic outsourcing solutions. With a facility spanning over 5,500 m² in the Midlands, the company invests over £2 million in automation technologies and maintains a dedicated assembly area for sensitive electronics. PP C&A offers modular or assembly-based solutions tailored to electrical control and automation, electronics assembly, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical design, and other specialized systems.

Jaltek, a leading UK contract electronics manufacturer, specializes in high-mix, low- to medium-volume projects across diverse industries including clean energy, aerospace, and medical equipment. Known for its work with startups and emerging businesses, Jaltek provides services in PCBA layout, rapid NPI (new product introduction), manufacturing, testing, and final product assembly. The PP x Jaltek collaboration is designed to act as a bridge between cutting-edge agricultural innovation and market readiness, addressing the unique needs and challenges of the agritech industry. This partnership aims to streamline the transition from design to implementation, particularly in precision farming, vertical farming, and IoT-enabled crop management solutions.
