The transaction encompasses Fountain9&#8217;s intellectual property and its team, though the financial details have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fountain9 is recognized for its AI-powered inventory planning platform, which enhances supply chain efficiency through advanced demand forecasting, price optimization, and waste reduction. The platform has significantly improved supply chain operations for various companies by leveraging machine learning for predictive analytics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The acquisition follows a successful collaboration between Rappi and Fountain9, where the latter&#8217;s technology was instrumental in optimizing Rappi Turbo\u2019s delivery operations. This positive experience established a foundation of trust, paving the way for the asset purchase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Felipe Villamar\u00edn, co-founder of Rappi, emphasized that this acquisition is a strategic move to advance the company\u2019s technological capabilities in supply chain management. &#8220;The integration of Fountain9&#8217;s assets allows us to further leverage AI to enhance our supply chain operations and extend these capabilities to our partners,&#8221; Villamar\u00edn stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the acquisition, Fountain9\u2019s co-founders, Niki Khokale and Rajas Lonkar, along with their team, will join Rappi.
