Com o avan\u00e7o das mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas, espera-se que as temperaturas mais altas e os eventos clim\u00e1ticos mais extremos aumentem a preval\u00eancia e a gravidade da SWR, o que representa uma amea\u00e7a significativa \u00e0 seguran\u00e7a alimentar. O aumento das temperaturas pode induzir a SWR por meio do ressecamento dos solos, enquanto as secas e os inc\u00eandios florestais agravam o problema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O estudo destaca que as pr\u00e1ticas convencionais e de gest\u00e3o da sa\u00fade do solo afetam a SWR de forma diferente. Pr\u00e1ticas como lavoura, irriga\u00e7\u00e3o, campos de pousio, cultivo de cobertura e a aplica\u00e7\u00e3o de corretivos desempenham pap\u00e9is no gerenciamento ou na exacerba\u00e7\u00e3o da SWR. As pr\u00e1ticas de lavoura de conserva\u00e7\u00e3o e plantio direto podem reter a umidade do solo, mas tamb\u00e9m podem aumentar a SWR em determinadas condi\u00e7\u00f5es. A irriga\u00e7\u00e3o ajuda a manter a umidade do solo acima dos n\u00edveis cr\u00edticos para evitar a SWR, enquanto a queima de campos pode tanto criar quanto reduzir a SWR, dependendo da intensidade do fogo e das condi\u00e7\u00f5es do solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os pesquisadores pedem a integra\u00e7\u00e3o das considera\u00e7\u00f5es de SWR nos modelos de mudan\u00e7a clim\u00e1tica para prever com mais precis\u00e3o os desafios futuros da seguran\u00e7a alimentar.
