Winners Announced for 100+ Labs Chile 2024 Accelerator Program

O 100+ Labs Chile accelerator, a corporate initiative by AB InBev in partnership with Coca-Cola Andina and Coca-Cola Embonor, concluded its 2024 edition by announcing the winners at the EtM Day, Latin America’s largest annual entrepreneurship and innovation event. The accelerator, managed by Socialab, aims to support startups addressing business and sustainability challenges.

The three winning startups are EFILabs, Ainwatere AlicIA, each specializing in different areas of innovation. EFILabs focuses on tire management, aiming to reduce costs, accidents, and carbon footprints. Ainwater is developing digital solutions to optimize water usage in industrial processes, with a goal to reduce water consumption per beverage produced by 10%. AlicIA, an AI-powered sales robot, is designed to streamline sales processes. Each of the winners received a cash prize of 10 million pesos and the opportunity to collaborate with the respective partner companies for pilot projects.

José Antonio Alonso, Corporate Affairs and Positive Impact Director at AB InBev, highlighted the competitiveness of the final selection, noting that the decision came down to decimals. This reflects both the high quality of the startups and the advanced stage of the initiatives they presented. Other members of the judging panel included executives from AB InBev, CORFO, Coca-Cola Andina, and Coca-Cola Embonor.

For the winning startups, the next step involves four-month pilot projects with the corporate partners. If successful, they could expand their initiatives regionally and globally within the AB InBev network. The collaboration with these large corporations presents a significant opportunity for the startups to scale their solutions in the beverage and sustainability sectors.
